Let’s Team up for Courage Kenny Wheelchair Basketball!
My wheelchair basketball team is raising money to help cover the costs of our b-ball program.
Funds raised will directly support the Courage Kenny Wheelchair Basketball Program including:
• Purchasing of equipment such as sport wheelchairs, basketballs, and more
• New team uniforms for the youth program
• Keeping the program fees low and providing scholarships
• Facility rentals for practice and tournaments
• Tournament registration fees and so much more!
Why donate?
Through the Wheelchair Basketball program at Courage Kenny, I have not only gained athletic skills, but have joined a community of dedicated athletes. Being able to compete at this level has built my self-confidence and improved my quality of life.
I want all kids with disabilities to have this opportunity! However, the costs associated with adaptive sports (specialized equipment such as sport wheelchairs, and travel costs to tournaments, etc.) may prevent some families from having the chance to participate.

About Courage Kenny Wheelchair Basketball
Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute has been a leader in wheelchair basketball for 30+ years, touching the lives of thousands of athletes over the years through competitive teams, recreational teams and hosting tournaments and other special events. The wheelchair basketball program serves 60 athletes (40+ youth) over five competitive teams, with the support of 15 volunteer coaches. Wheelchair Basketball is for athletes with permanent lower-body extremity impairment or disability. Many athletes do not use a wheelchair full-time. Participating in sports enhance participants’ independence, improve self-confidence and encourage an active, healthy lifestyle. To reduce barriers and increase access to wheelchair basketball we provide adaptive equipment, scholarships, and skilled volunteers. We also host a number of special events and tournaments that provide unique opportunities to learn and experience adaptive sports and recreation.
