What is Ski-A-Thon?

Allina Health Foundation’s Ski-A-Thon raises annual support for the Courage Kenny Ski and Snowbaord program, one of the largest adaptive ski programs in the Midwest. Through the generosity of donors and volunteers, the Courage Kenny Ski and Snowboard program has been able to provide adaptive ski and snowboard lessons for individuals with disabilities across 4 sites in Minnesota and Western Wisconsin for over 50 years.

During the 2024 winter season, we:

  • Raised $54,721 of support through Ski-A-Thon
  • Taught 930 adaptive ski and snowboard lessons
  • Had the support of 276 volunteers, up by 9%
  • Enabled 113 individuals to participate in weekly lessons, up 15% from previous year
  • Added two veteran-specific clinics and taught 18 veterans
  • Added three beginner clinics and introduced 12 more individuals to snowsports.
